Jordan + Anna: Part 1

We celebrated Anna and Jordan getting married last weekend. It was an amazing weekend full of fun, catching up with friends, dancing, and "chopping" (everyone caught on to Matt and Courtney's game of pretend chopping each other necks...random I know). Anyway, we loved being a part of celebrating Jordan and Anna's special day.

I first met Anna my sophomore year of college right after I transferred to ASU from Elon. Anna was one of my first Sigma Kappa friends and been a wonderful friend ever since. She moved to TX after college, but 2 years ago she came back to her senses and moved back to NC. It was there that she went on a blind date and met Jordan. After only dating for 5 months they decided to get engaged and a year later they got married! A fast and fun romance for sure :)

On Friday we had a delicious meal at The Forsyth Country Club for the Bridesmaids luncheon. I loved having the chance to sit down and catch up with these Sigma Kappa girls that mean so much to me!

The rehearsal dinner was at Tanglewood in Winston-Salem. It was such a fun and relaxing event with great food and even some corn hole! We had amazing ribs, corn, and all the BBQ fixings!

What an amazing group of people. From left to right: Amy and Eddie are sick of long distance dating, so Amy is moving to Raleigh to be closer to him and get her masters in education at Chapel-Hill. Courtney and Matt are next in line to get married in October. They live in Kernersville together. Katie and Brice have been dating for a long time! Katie is getting her Phd at Wake while Brice teaches in Charlotte. Anna and Jordan will be staying in the Winston area while Jordan starts and new job and Anna continues to teach. Lindsay and Josh like in Birkdale and will be celebrating their 2 year anniversary in August. To our right is Jessica and Michael who got married in September of 2009 and just bought a house in Hickory, NC.

It is great to see how quickly we can all come back together and catch up from where we left off. At one point we all lived together in the Sigma Kappa house...and when we get back together it feels like nothing has changed. And one of the coolest things is to see how all the guys have created friendships with each other. We are blessed.

We had a great time at the rehearsal dinner and that was only the beginning...
